Currently, I am working on a gallery wall. I seriously L.O.V.E gallery walls. I have always been a fan of displaying photos, however, I'm running out of places to display. So, I have been wanting to put together a gallery wall forever, however, I have limited wall space, due to many windows. I have been forced to move my gallery wall to the basement family room. My next decision I've been sitting on for-quite-sometime has been: what kind of gallery wall should I create?
Well, I have finally decided that in addition to family photos, I'd like to add important ancestor photos + important places. I have an amazing selection of photos of my ancestors. My favorites are these nostalgic and capturing photos of the wedding day of both sets of my grandparents. I've had them displayed in the library, but I want to add these and more to the gallery. Plus, I have a serious attachment to places I've lived and the memories I hold of these locations. So, I want to add a few maps and symbols that represent these places and the important places to my hubby as well.
Right now, I'm in the phase of spray painting frames and gathering photos and maps... I will show you what I come up with in a week-or-so. However, here are a few inspiration photos I've been gathering to help me with my project.
